Delivery Update in Ukraine: Please Order Gifts in Advance

The ongoing war continues to affect everyday life and logistics throughout Ukraine. In recent days, Nova Poshta, our main shipping and logistics partner for deliveries between Ukrainian cities, has again been targeted by Russian attacks again.

Nova Poshta facilities and sorting infrastructure have been damaged or destroyed in several recent strikes. Despite these attacks, Nova Poshta continues operating and is reorganizing routes and logistics wherever possible. 

At Ukraine Gift Delivery, we continue accepting and delivering orders across Ukraine. However, the disruption to transportation and supply chains is beginning to affect the time needed to prepare some of our more complex gifts.

Please Allow an Extra 1–2 Days for Complex Orders

Many of our gifts are prepared locally. Others require special products or components to be shipped from Kyiv or other Ukrainian cities to the recipient's location.

At the moment, these shipments may take an additional 1–2 days, particularly for orders that require several products to be brought together before delivery.

We strongly recommend placing your order in advance whenever possible, especially for:

• Custom-made cakes
• Handmade and specialty chocolates
• Gift baskets
• Perfumes and beauty gifts
• Gifts containing several different products
• Specialty or premium items that may not be available locally

Custom Cakes Require Extra Time

Custom-made cakes normally require 48–96 hours for preparation, depending on the design and destination city.

During the current logistical disruptions, we recommend ordering custom cakes at least 3–4 days before your preferred delivery date. For urgent orders, we will always do our best, but a particular cake design, size, filling or decoration may not be available on short notice.

When necessary, we may offer a high-quality ready-made cake or another suitable alternative rather than delay an important birthday or celebration.

Product Availability May Be More Limited

Another consequence of disrupted logistics is that the selection of high-quality and imported products available in some Ukrainian cities may temporarily decrease.

Our team always tries to find the closest possible match to the gift you selected. If an exact product is unavailable, we will contact you when an important substitution is required and look for the best available alternative.

Flowers and simpler gifts sourced directly in the recipient's city may often still be delivered normally, while complex orders involving products from several suppliers are more likely to require additional time.

We Are Still Delivering Across Ukraine

Ukraine's logistics network has shown extraordinary resilience throughout the war. Nova Poshta continues rebuilding damaged infrastructure and developing alternative routes even after repeated attacks. The company reported that the cost of restoring property damaged since the full-scale invasion had already exceeded UAH 2.1 billion by mid-2026.  Our florists, bakers, couriers and suppliers are also continuing to work.

At Ukraine Gift Delivery, we will continue doing everything possible to deliver your flowers and gifts safely and as close to your requested date as circumstances allow.

If you are planning a birthday, anniversary or another important occasion in Ukraine, please place your order a few days in advance. A little extra preparation time gives us much more flexibility to source the best products and arrange reliable delivery.
